European Business Aviation Association Unveils New Aircraft Display at Geneva Airport for EBACE 2026, All You Need to Know
EBAA unveils a new aircraft display at Geneva Airport for EBACE 2026, offering enhanced access, security and luxury in business aviation.
The European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) has unveiled a significant change for the 2026 edition of the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE). In a move aimed at enhancing the visitor and exhibitor experience, the static aircraft display will be relocated to a new site at Geneva Airport, adjacent to the PalExpo convention center, where the event will take place from May 27 to 29, 2026. This decision marks a decisive step in EBAA’s strategy to redefine the way business aviation is showcased in Europe.
New Location and Layout for the Static Display
The new display area at Geneva Airport spans an impressive 40,000 square meters (430,566 square feet) and will be accessible from both the airside and landside. This change from the traditional layout is expected to provide a more dynamic and immersive viewing experience for attendees. The new “centralized” layout will offer a 360-degree view of the displayed aircraft, a significant improvement over the “linear” design used in previous EBACE static displays. This innovative format is set to provide visitors with a more comprehensive and interactive experience, allowing them to appreciate the full scale and design of the aircraft on display.
Enhancing VIP Access and Exhibitor Experience
One of the key advantages of this new design is the enhanced accessibility for VIP guests. Unlike the previous setup, which required entering the static display through the convention center, the new location allows VIPs to directly access the display from Geneva Airport. This change ensures a more streamlined and efficient experience for high-profile guests, who can view the aircraft without any inconvenience. Additionally, the move to a dedicated area will allow exhibitors to provide more exclusive hospitality services to their clients in a premium, private environment.
Security and Visitor Flow Improvements
EBAA’s decision to relocate the static display to Geneva Airport reflects the association’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the EBACE experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. The new layout will also feature the most secure perimeter ever implemented at an EBACE static display. With clearly defined zones, controlled entry points and improved visitor flow, the new design is expected to meet the demands of an increasingly security-conscious industry. EBAA has worked closely with exhibitors to incorporate their feedback into the new design, ensuring that the layout will meet the evolving needs of the business aviation community.
EBAA’s Vision for the Future of EBACE
Stefan Benz, the CEO of EBAA, emphasized that the new layout would enhance the experience for attendees and contribute to elevating Geneva’s position as the primary base for EBACE. He explained that by relocating the static display to a dedicated site at Geneva Airport, exhibitors would have the freedom to create the premium, private environments they require for their clients. Benz noted that this move represented a significant step forward for the show and aligned with their goal of redefining the way European business aviation is showcased.
The 2026 edition of EBACE will remain in Geneva, continuing the tradition of holding the event in the Swiss city. However, EBAA has announced that future editions of EBACE will alternate between various European cities. Although specific locations have not yet been disclosed, the association remains committed to maintaining Geneva as the event’s home base.
This move is part of EBAA’s broader strategy to evolve and grow the show, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the global business aviation industry. In addition to the new static display, EBAA has also introduced changes to the overall structure of the event, aiming to make EBACE more vibrant and engaging for all participants.
New Leadership Team to Guide EBACE 2026
To help facilitate these changes, EBAA has appointed a new sales and management team for the 2026 show. Carla Spiljard has been named as the new EBACE program director and she will be supported by Kerry Lamont, who will oversee outdoor accounts and Helen Nagle, who will handle indoor exhibits. Marleen Weide will serve as the operations project manager, while Dewi Hazes will take on the role of project manager. Paul Walsh, an existing EBAA manager, will continue to oversee EBACE sales and membership services. This team brings a wealth of experience in managing events within the business aviation, defense and aerospace sectors.
With these changes, EBACE 2026 is set to offer an exciting and innovative platform for showcasing the latest advancements in aviation. The relocation of the static display to Geneva Airport promises to enhance the overall event experience, offering both exhibitors and visitors a fresh perspective on the future of business aviation. As the aviation industry continues to evolve, EBAA’s efforts to adapt and improve EBACE reflect the growing importance of business aviation on a global scale.
More information regarding exhibitor registration and the new static display layout will be provided in December 2025. This will allow exhibitors to begin planning their participation in the 2026 event, which is expected to draw thousands of industry professionals from around the world.
As the business aviation sector looks forward to the next chapter of EBACE, the 2026 show at Geneva Airport promises to set new standards in showcasing the industry’s most cutting-edge technologies and innovations. EBAA’s dedication to creating a more interactive, secure and luxurious environment ensures that EBACE will continue to be a must-attend event for the global aviation community.
