WASHINGTON, D.C. – Viceroy Hotels & Resorts has appointed Oksana Gyulnazaryan as Area General Manager for Viceroy Washington DC and Hotel Zena in the U.S. capital. Her leadership role covers full operational oversight and performance for the two lifestyle properties.
Gyulnazaryan brings more than 16 years of experience across major hotel brands in the United States, including senior roles with Hyatt and Marriott. Her background spans guest experience strategy, operational improvements, team development, and financial management.
Prior to joining Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, she led operations at the 481-room Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, where her team supported increased guest satisfaction and revenue gains through operational changes and upselling programs. Earlier in her career, she managed Chicago Marriott Burr Ridge, achieving strong financial performance results across consecutive years.

Gyulnazaryan holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from Kharkiv National University V.N. Karazina. She has also contributed to workforce development initiatives, leading labor engagement programs and supporting post-pandemic operational resilience.
In her new role, she will guide service delivery, brand consistency, and community engagement as both properties continue to refine their positioning within Washington, D.C.’s competitive urban hospitality market.
Gyulnazaryan is also the founder of Hospitality Learning Online, a platform offering free training resources for hospitality students and professionals, supporting more than 1,000 learners globally.
