Legend’s eight innovative neighborhoods—each a destination in itself—will open to vacationers in July 2026. The setting, designed as an opulent train carriage, whisks guests away through a blend of theatrical storytelling, innovative technology, and cuisine inspired by centuries of travel. Legend embarks on an unforgettable 2026 European summer, offering 7-night Western Mediterranean journeys sailing from Barcelona, Spain. Further highlights include Provence (Marseille), France, where guests can explore charming coastal villages or savor renowned French cuisine, Naples, Italy, with its rich cultural heritage and cuisine, and Palma De Mallorca, Spain, where history and stunning Mediterranean scenery await.

In November 2026, Legend transitions to the Caribbean, with sailings from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Guests can choose 6-night Western Caribbean cruises with adventure-filled ports, or 8-night Southern Caribbean voyages to the idyllic shores of Oranjestad, Aruba, and Willemstad, Curaçao. Both itineraries feature a call at Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay, an award-winning private island with crystal-clear turquoise waters, a sprawling waterpark with slides and wave pools, beach cabanas, swim-up bars, and other amenities that create the ultimate day of fun or relaxation in paradise.

Legend will be the fourth ship in Royal Caribbean Group’s fleet to utilize liquefied natural gas (LNG), a fuel known for producing fewer emissions and better air quality than traditional marine alternatives. It will feature a comprehensive suite of leading environmental programs, including advanced waste heat recovery systems that improve energy efficiency by harnessing and repurposing waste energy, as well as the capability to connect to shore power in ports, significantly reducing onboard emissions when docked.
