Ziarah Travel Launches New AI Booking Platform in UAE with Sabre Flight Technology
Abu Dhabi-based Ziarah Travel launches AI flight booking with Sabre, offering conversational trip planning and live reservations.
Ziarah Travel, an Abu Dhabi-based travel technology company, launched its new agentic AI travel platform on 20 October 2026, introducing conversational flight booking through technology from Sabre. The platform allows travellers to search for flights, compare available options and complete reservations within one digital conversation.
The service aims to simplify how travellers organise journeys by replacing multiple booking steps with an AI-powered interface. Users can explain their travel requirements in everyday language, while the system interprets their preferences and searches airline inventory.
Unlike conventional travel chatbots that mainly suggest destinations or redirect customers to booking websites, Ziarah Travel connects its AI system to Sabre’s booking infrastructure. This integration allows the platform to process flight reservations and provide booking confirmations without transferring users to another website.
The company operates from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and offers its services through web browsers and mobile applications for iOS and Android. Its platform supports Arabic and English, making it accessible to travellers who prefer either language.
How Sabre Technology Supports Ziarah Travel AI Flight Booking
The partnership brings together Ziarah Travel’s conversational AI technology and Sabre’s established airline distribution infrastructure. Sabre supplies access to airline content, flight availability, pricing information, reservation processing and post-booking services.
When a traveller enters a request, Ziarah Travel’s AI identifies the destination, preferred dates and other travel requirements. It then uses connected travel inventory to identify suitable flight options.
For example, a traveller planning a journey from Abu Dhabi to London could request flights within a particular budget and specify preferred departure times. The system can interpret those instructions, search relevant flight options and guide the traveller towards a reservation.
Sabre’s agentic-ready application programming interfaces (APIs) provide the technical connection between the conversational platform and live airline inventory. This allows Ziarah Travel to move beyond basic itinerary suggestions and support actual booking transactions.
The integration also uses Sabre’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) infrastructure, which the technology provider introduced in 2025. This system helps AI agents interact with travel information and carry out tasks through a standardised technical framework.
For travellers, the principal advantage lies in reducing the number of separate steps required to organise a flight. Instead of switching between search engines, airline websites and payment pages, customers can progress through the booking process within the same interface.
Ziarah Travel also maintains responsibility for customer servicing through its travel business. Its operator, Ziarah Travel & Tourism L.L.C., holds IATA accreditation, supporting its role in airline ticketing and travel distribution.
AI Travel Planning Expands Beyond Airline Reservations
The Ziarah Travel platform additionally enables users to organise accommodation, activities and ground transportation. Its AI integrates all these elements of travel into customised itineraries according to the user’s preferences.
The idea is that it will be advantageous for families, business travellers and international tourists managing multiple bookings. However, the company has not yet proved that all elements of the itinerary are configured to provide the same direct-booking capabilities that it offers for flights.
What Travellers Should Know Before Booking Flights
Travellers considering the new platform should review the booking conditions carefully before completing a payment. AI-powered convenience does not eliminate airline restrictions, fare conditions or destination entry requirements.
Important precautions include:
- Compare ticket prices: Check the total fare, including baggage charges, seat selection and service fees.
- Verify travel documents: Confirm passport validity, visa requirements and transit conditions.
- Review cancellation policies: Understand refund eligibility and ticket modification charges.
- Check booking confirmation: Confirm that the airline has issued a valid ticket number.
- Protect personal information: Use official booking channels and review payment security.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) recommends verifying travel agencies through their unique accreditation codes. Travellers can use IATA’s verification resources to check an agency’s credentials.
What the Launch Means for UAE Travel Technology
The launch also illustrates Abu Dhabi’s expanding engagement with travel services driven by artificial intelligence (AI). Ziarah Travel uses conversational AI alongside traditional airline distribution systems to provide a new way to book trips.
Sabre’s published technical documentation explicitly states that its agentic APIs provide travel search, booking, and servicing functionalities. The company rolled out its MCP-based agentic platform infrastructure in September 2025.
In the broader tourism sector, this model may lead to increased use of automated customer services by travel agents. It is commercial viability will depend on its reliability in booking transactions, clarity of pricing and the uptake by consumers.
October 2026 will see Ziarah Travel joining the digital travel scene in the UAE with an integrated platform for flight booking and AI travel planning in an easy-to-use dialogue interface.
