Romantic Soiree Under the Stars at the NUSTAR Poolside

NUSTAR Resort Cebu, set against shimmering waters and open skies overlooking the seascape, features Cebu–Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX)—the country’s longest bridge. On 14 February at 7:00 PM, enjoy a Romantic Soiree Under the Stars at the NUSTAR Poolside Gardens.

Priced at PHP 6,000 per person, this bespoke five-course dinner begins with an elegant trio of amuse-bouches: balsamic and pink pepper berry bruschetta; steak tataki with wasabi in herb brioche, topped with caviar and gold leaf; and a Roquefort, fig, and cranberry tartlet.

This is followed by charred octopus served with romesco sauce, cherry tomatoes, and puffed quinoa, then a refreshing rosé wine berry sorbet to cleanse the palate for the main course.

Guests may choose between two expertly crafted mains:

U.S. Beef and Foie Gras or Dry-Aged Beef Tenderloin, grilled and served with foie gras, glazed heirloom vegetables, potato rosette, and Bordelaise sauce; or
Chilean Seabass and Lobster, paired with three ways of asparagus, poached egg, potato fondant, and champagne velouté.

The evening ends with a luxurious Dark Chocolate Frangelico Magnum, which includes raspberry ice cream, salted caramel macaron, dark chocolate sponge, and pistachio crisp. A live saxophonist’s serenade enhances the atmosphere, turning the night into a relaxed celebration of romance.

At Il Primo, Valentine’s Day is celebrated as an Italian love story expressed through flavor, craftsmanship, and tradition. ‘Amore al Primo Morso,’ meaning “love at first bite,” is a five-course Italian set menu priced at PHP 4,000++ per person, inspired by Italy’s view that love—and food—are best enjoyed slowly.

The experience begins with a sophisticated Mortadella amuse-bouche, then transitions to a Puglia-inspired seafood salad that captures the coastal flavors of southern Italy. A handmade Sardinian beetroot culurgione highlights Italian culinary craftsmanship, culminating in a hearty main course of Black Angus Beef Tenderloin. The evening ends with a refined Cherry Semifreddo, a traditional Italian dessert representing harmony and sweetness.
