HSMAI Americas appoints Michael Innocentin as Board Chair for 2026–2028
HSMAI Americas announced that Michael Innocentin, chief marketing officer at Omni Hotels & Resorts, will serve as board chair for 2026–2028, succeeding Andrew Rubinacci.
McLEAN, VA. – HSMAI Americas has announced a leadership transition within its Board of Directors, confirming that Michael Innocentin, chief marketing officer of Omni Hotels & Resorts, will assume the role of chair for a two-year term beginning in January 2026. He succeeds Andrew Rubinacci, CHSP, chief advisory officer at FLYR, who will transition to immediate past chair.
Innocentin highlighted the strategic importance of the role at a time of significant transformation in hospitality. “I am honored to take on the role of Chair for HSMAI Americas and to help guide the association at such a pivotal time for the hospitality industry,” he said. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to Andrew Rubinacci for his leadership and dedication throughout the past two years. In his current position at Omni Hotels & Resorts, Innocentin oversees brand marketing strategy, advertising, public relations, social media, digital initiatives, and the company’s website. He also directs customer engagement and the Select Guest Loyalty programs. His work in digital strategy, experiential marketing, and global campaign execution has contributed to Omni’s revenue growth and strengthened its brand presence across core markets.
HSMAI Americas’ executive committee and board bring together leaders from major hospitality brands, academia, and industry suppliers. The group represents a wide cross-section of HSMAI’s membership and plays a key role in guiding the association’s priorities in sales, marketing, and revenue optimization.
