Hotel d’Inghilterra Rome – Starhotels Collezione has joined Virtuoso’s global network of luxury travel partners, a move that strengthens the property’s visibility among top-producing advisors and high-end travellers. The acceptance follows the hotel’s extensive restoration and its ongoing positioning within the premium hospitality sector.
ROME, ITALY – Hotel d’Inghilterra Rome – Starhotels Collezione has been accepted into Virtuoso’s international portfolio of luxury travel partners, a network comprising 2,500 suppliers across 100 countries. The affiliation provides the hotel with access to Virtuoso’s global community of advisors, considered one of the most influential sales channels in the high-end travel market. Virtuoso agencies collectively generate approximately US$35 billion in annual sales, giving partner properties significant exposure to well-qualified travellers.
The hotel’s entry into Virtuoso follows a detailed restoration that returned its historic palazzo to its original architectural character. Massimo Colli, General Manager of Hotel d’Inghilterra, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting that the hotel’s blend of Roman heritage and service traditions aligns well with the expectations of Virtuoso’s clientele.
Located near Piazza di Spagna and Via Condotti, the property combines 19th-century heritage with contemporary Italian design. The refurbishment by Starhotels included updates to rooms, suites and public areas, supported by Italian craftsmen through the company’s “La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory” programme. Among the accommodation highlights are Executive Suites, Balcony Suites with views over Rome, a Penthouse Suite featuring a large terrace, and a newly added SPA Suite offering dedicated wellness amenities.

Dining options include Café Romano, known for menus inspired by local culinary traditions, and a lounge bar serving classic cocktails. The recently opened Terrazza Romana rooftop bar adds another social setting with views of the city’s skyline.
Hotel d’Inghilterra has long attracted international travellers, with a guest history that includes writers, actors, and cultural figures. Its recent industry recognition includes placements in Condé Nast Traveller and Travel + Leisure rankings, as well as Forbes Travel Guide.
With its inclusion in Virtuoso, the hotel gains structured access to leading leisure travel agencies across markets in North and Latin America, Europe, the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Middle East. As part of the programme, Virtuoso clients now receive added-value benefits, including breakfast for two, a food-and-beverage credit, and upgrade and check-in privileges subject to availability.
