“The Nature of Love campaign invites travelers to experience Dominica through meaningful connections,” said Marva Williams, Chief Executive Officer of the Discover Dominica Authority. “Couples can find romance, families can reconnect, and solo travelers can focus on personal well-being… Dominica offers unforgettable experiences, and we have exciting new developments this season that will continue to elevate the island as a leading tourism destination in the Caribbean and beyond.”
Nature-based experiences at the core
Known as the Nature Island, Dominica offers a landscape of volcanic peaks, lush rainforests, more than 360 rivers and dramatic waterfalls. The destination is recognised for hiking, wellness, marine life encounters and soft adventure activities that support the local tourism economy.
Experiences highlighted in the campaign include:
- The Waitukubuli National Trail, the Caribbean’s longest hiking route
- Trekking to Boiling Lake, the world’s second-largest of its kind
- Swimming with sperm whales
- World-class diving across unique volcanic reefs and marine reserves
These activities provide what the DDA describes as “romance, adventure, and personal renewal in a natural setting,” allowing visitors to craft unforgettable memories led by local experts.

Product and experience development
As part of the campaign, Discover Dominica is emphasising tailored itineraries curated by local guides, ensuring travel experiences are community-based and personalised. Accommodation offerings range from eco-luxury cliffside villas and riverside cottages to guesthouses in historic villages, appealing to varied traveller preferences.
The DDA aims to strengthen the island’s positioning as a destination rooted in authenticity, wellness and emotional connection rather than mass tourism, encouraging visitors to “reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other.”
The “Nature of Love” campaign supports Dominica’s tourism growth strategy with a focus on sustainable, experience-driven travel – a sector gaining momentum among travellers seeking deeper meaning from their journeys.
