Current World of Hyatt promotions: Earn bonus points and award rebates

One of the best ways to earn extra points on World of Hyatt stays is to enroll in promotions.

To see your current Hyatt promotions, log in to your account and click on "My offers" in the menu on the left-hand side of the page.

Here's a look at the current Hyatt promotions TPG staffers have seen in their accounts recently. Note that some of these promotions may be targeted, so you may not see them in your account.

Earn 2,000 bonus points every 2 nights

Register by: Sept. 1

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between July 1 and Sept. 7

Beginning with your second eligible stay, you'll get 2,000 bonus points for every two eligible nights stayed at Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, The Venetian Resort, and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt properties. Properties are considered participating if they participate in World of Hyatt at both the time of booking and the time of stay.

Hyatt promotion to earn 2,000 bonus points per two nights, starting on your second stay

You can earn at most 8,000 bonus points through this promotion. Nights booked at an eligible paid rate, with Hyatt points or with Hyatt free night certificates are eligible. Stays at Mr & Mrs Smith hotels, The Venetian Resort, and Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt must be booked through Hyatt to be eligible. Bonus points should post within two to three weeks of checkout.

Earn 3,000 bonus points per stay of 3 nights or more at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select

Register by: July 31

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between June 1 and July 31

You'll get 3,000 bonus points on each eligible stay of three or more consecutive nights at Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select properties in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America that participate in World of Hyatt at both the time of booking and the time of stay.

Hyatt promotion for Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select

You can earn at most 30,000 bonus points through this promotion. Nights booked at an eligible paid rate, with Hyatt points or with Hyatt free night certificates are eligible. Bonus points should post within two to three weeks of checkout.

Earn 5,000 bonus points per stay of 5 nights or more at Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios

Register by: Dec. 31

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between Jan. 20 and Dec. 31

You'll get 5,000 bonus points on each eligible stay of five or more consecutive nights at Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios properties that participate in World of Hyatt at both the time of booking and the time of stay.

Hyatt promotion for Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios stays

You can earn at most 50,000 bonus points through this promotion. Nights booked at an eligible paid rate, with Hyatt points or with Hyatt free night certificates are eligible. Bonus points should post within two to three weeks of checkout.

20% points back on Las Vegas stays

Register by: July 31

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between April 3 and July 31

You'll get 20% bonus points back on the Hyatt points redeemed for eligible stays at participating Las Vegas-area properties. The points should post to your account two to three weeks after your stay.

15% points back on Under Canvas stays

Register by: Nov. 30

Window to book and complete your stay: After registration and between June 18 and Dec. 1

You'll get 15% bonus points back on the Hyatt points redeemed for eligible stays at Under Canvas properties, including ULUM Moab, Bar N Ranch and The Fields of Michigan.

Hyatt promotion for redeeming points with Under Canvas

The points should post to your account two to three weeks after your stay.

Earn bonus American AAdvantage miles on Under Canvas stays

Register by: Sept. 12

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between June 5 and Sept. 13

Earn 1 American AAdvantage bonus mile per dollar spent on eligible stays at Under Canvas locations, plus ULUM Moab, Bar N Ranch and The Fields of Michigan. This earning is in addition to the Hyatt points you'll earn on your stay.

Earn American bonus miles on Under Canvas stays

Nights booked at an eligible paid rate, with Hyatt points or with Hyatt free night certificates, are eligible as long as the property participates in World of Hyatt both when you book and when you stay. Bonus miles should post within three to four weeks of checkout.

Cardmembers earn more on Under Canvas stays

Register by: June 12 (closed to new registration)

Window to complete your stay: After registration and between June 1 and Sept. 8

If you sign up during the registration window, you can still earn 20 points per dollar spent on stays at Under Canvas locations, ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan and Bar N Ranch when you book through Hyatt and pay using your World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) or World of Hyatt Business Credit Card (see rates and fees).

The 20 points per dollar spent is composed of 11 bonus points per dollar spent through this promotion (up to 100,000 bonus points), plus the 5 base points per dollar you earn as a World of Hyatt member and the 4 bonus points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases at Hyatt hotels and resorts when you pay with your Hyatt card.

Nights booked at an eligible paid rate, with Hyatt points or with Hyatt free night certificates are eligible. Allow three to four weeks for the bonus points to post to your account.

Bottom line

World of Hyatt promotions can be a simple way to earn more rewards on upcoming stays or get points back on award redemptions. However, many promotions require registration before your stay, and some are targeted. So, it's worth periodically checking the "My offers" section of your Hyatt account regularly to see which promotions are available to you.
