Costa Del Hamilo invests P3B to build eco-resort community in Batangas

SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime), in partnership with its distinguished leisure resort developer Costa Del Hamilo Inc., is dedicating P3 billion to M Village—an ambitious flagship eco-resort community at Marina Estates within Hamilo Coast.

Recently honored as Highly Commended Best Subdivision Development at the 13th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, M Village is artfully crafted to embody the essence of a marina lifestyle, where tranquil waterways, vibrant landscapes, and verdant green corridors blend effortlessly into everyday experiences.

Set against the backdrop of Nasugbu, Batangas, the 12-hectare M Village stretches along the serene western shores, directly facing the placid West Philippine Sea. The coastline’s signature features—deep, naturally shielded coves including the famous Papaya Cove—ensure safe and protected docking, contrasting with the more exposed conditions of typical beachfronts.

These shared spaces will feature a modern clubhouse with social and function areas, bi-level pools for various aquatic experiences, a rain garden that supports local plant and animal life, multiple parks designed for families, an expansive esplanade for scenic walks and outdoor gatherings, and a sprawling lawn for both intimate and large-scale events.

The first phase of the project introduces more than 170 residential lots, each crafted to offer privacy and convenience. Every lot provides direct water access, allowing homeowners to station boats and jet skis (measuring 4 to 6 meters) right at their own doorstep—fostering a seamless connection between living spaces and the waterfront.

M Village leverages the world-class expertise of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG) Singapore as concept planner and Joel Luna Planning & Design as master planner. WATG brings credentials from landmark projects, including Regent Bali Canggu, Nobu Residences Los Cabos, and numerous Four Seasons properties. Their collaboration sets a benchmark for quality and luxury, bringing a premium look and feel and connecting the project to the standards of eminent global coastal locations. Joel Luna’s firm adds specialized skills in sustainable and user-centric planning.

Mr. Ong, the developer, reports robust buyer interest, with numerous buyers reserving units ahead of the projected late 2028 turnover. This early enthusiasm highlights confidence in M Village’s vision, amenities, and premium positioning.
